The EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46 contains 9% transparent micronized zinc oxide to protect skin against damaging UVA (aging) rays. This lightweight, silky sunscreen is perfect for sensitive, acne-prone, or discolored skin. It wears beautifully under makeup, feels weightless, and keeps your complexion looking clear, smooth, and protected.

Zinc Oxide: Natural mineral compound that works as a sunscreen agent by reflecting and scattering UVA and UVB rays

How to Use

Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure
Reapply
- After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating
- Immediately after towel drying
- at least every 2 hours
Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad-spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: • limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. • wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses
Children under 6 months: Consult your doctor.

Warnings

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Centre right away.

This sunscreen has a nice consistency that goes on silky but doesn’t leave your face oily. I like how it has a high SPF and doesn’t have an odour and is hydrating. I’ve been using it for a few years now and changed over from skinmedicas sunscreen.
